Job Description

Under the supervision of the foreman/project manager, the incumbent of this position will be responsible for supporting the construction team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with other welders and tradespeople, providing high-quality and confidential technical support on-site.

Main Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work plans and technical documents.
• Plan the various stages of welding work.
• Determine and implement the required welding processes.
• Use manual and semi-automatic welding tools.
• Operate metalworking machines (e.g., shears, bending presses).
• Perform welding and brazing of metals to design products or infrastructures.
• Perform welding and brazing of metals to repair products or infrastructures.
• Conduct quality control checks.

Experience, Skills & Education

• DEP in Welding-Fitting.
• 1 to 10 years of welding experience.
• ASP Construction card.
• CWB (4 positions) card is an asset.
• High-pressure welding card is an asset.
• Field (site) experience is an asset.
• Demonstrate an interest and sensitivity towards health and safety at work.
• Proficiency in French, both oral and written; English is an asset.
