The Engineer-in-Training (EIT) will work on lifting projects, mechanical design, maintenance, and design work. Coordination support for assigned projects will also be necessary. In this role, you will collaborate with project managers at Altan Construction, client project managers, and project subcontractors while providing high-quality and confidential technical support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage multiple mechanical engineering projects.<\/li>\n<li>Provide advice and additional training to foremen.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor project progress.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate client projects.<\/li>\n<li>Track time and manage project scope revision procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct weekly site visits.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in site meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Attend company meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Support safety reviews and inspections.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a liaison between the technical office and foremen (project).<\/li>\n<li>Handle ad hoc projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience, Skills &amp; Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Member of the Ordre des Ing\u00e9nieurs du Qu\u00e9bec (OIQ) as an EIT.<\/li>\n<li>ASP Construction card.<\/li>\n<li>Field experience (site or industrial) is an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate an interest and sensitivity towards health and safety at work.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in French, both oral and written; English is an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Hold a valid Class 5 driver\u2019s license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly competitive salary based on experience.<\/li>\n<li>Possibility of overtime on various projects.<\/li>\n<li>Collective insurance.<\/li>\n<li>Vacation available upon starting (3 weeks).<\/li>\n<li>Company-provided cell phone and laptop.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible work schedule (5-2).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Are you interested in a challenge within our team?<\/strong><\/em> Send your resume to our team at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:rhgroupealtan@groupealtan.com\">rhgroupealtan@groupealtan.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We thank you for your interest in us.
